We had a tester I think called PreAgro that was made in Finland, if memory serves correctly. It had a screw top on it and an analog needle gauge on the front. It had a corrugated aluminum shell. It wasn't too bad of a tester, but it would give you carpal tunnel syndrome by the end of harvest from tightening that silly lid. I don't know if they are available anymore, or if that is even close to what you are describing. I prefer a Dickey John digital read out personally.
