To remove this belt you will need to remove hyd. hose that feeds variable speed.Next remove eight capsrews that hold outer sheave to variable speed assy. and tap or smack outer sheave with soft hammer and this should knock outer sheave loose.When reinstalling outer sheave half make sure you rotate drive as you are tightening eight capscrews so everything tightens up evenly.Also make sure you reinstall hyd. hose before tightening otherwise you could get an oil bath. Thank you very much!I do most things through trial and error.You just saved me a couple hours.

To take belt off, run thraser unit, then run variable speed on cylinder until bottom pulley is fulley closed this will open top pulley. Then put apiece of wood right thicknes in between pulleys at top. Then dicconnect hydrolic hose, and pull bottom pulley out watch for hydolic oil coming out of pulley. This will leave belt slack enough to remove,Do not forget to take wood out when reassembling.
