Don't be fooled, the burnt, rolled and demolished CaseIH's are out there, and lots of them! In fact, about a year ago there was a pic of A 2188 that rolled so hard you literally wouldn't have known it was a combine, and not long ago there was another pic of a burnt 8010; - that fire started with a hot bearing in the straw chopper, I believe. I'm enjoying my 2388; - and I'm a "Deere convert"!

Sure any combine can BURN but anyone ever notice most burnt combines are only a few years old, the reason for this is simple its a "FRICTION FIRE" this happens when the mortgage payment rubs against the insurance papers.

okay. well, i have seen proportionally close on NO CIH's detroyed, and i've visited quite many sites. was just wondering. thanks for your input!
