You will be pleased going from Massey to CIH. The CIH will give the cleanest sample on the market while keeping losses minimal.

A 2188 machine would do a great job for you, but lots of guys run 8 row heads on 66 machines too. I would recommend that you get the field trakker option and getting a 25' or bigger flex head. I am sure that when you need parts for a CIH combine they will have them for you and they will be cheaper than AGCO.

what massey machine are u runningIJ i think na 8570 would be a good purchase if u don't have one or u could go with the 8780 or 8780XP they would all be good choices. we run a 25ft table in soybeans and wheat, and run an 8row corn head in corn. we like it really well. we would love to get an 8780 or 8780XP if we could find the money for one i would check out one of them too. how close are u to a dealerIJ allen

I ran an eight row 30" head on a 1460 the last two years. It worked but I was in 160 bu. corn and the hopper was too small to get very far without waiting for the grain cart to get back. This year I went to a 12 row planter and a 6 row head. Will try that head next week. By the way both heads are Masseys. One other comment, you have the Massey heads already and you can do what I did. Get a Bish adapter and use them on your IH. I can't believe how well they work together.I did have to pitch the face plate up one hole to level the head but as a plus, they're both red.
