Not quite sure which shaft your talking about. If it is stub or right pivot shaft just above drive axle you need to check out cylinder torque senser for grease ect. Same goes if it is the right side of mainshaft that holds torque senser cylinder varible. If short of grease so you have scoring you would need to get polished up and increase daily shots of grease threw zirk on outside of sheave. Also if to sensor is apart be sure sliding hub has clearance but not to much. We sometimes touch up with cylinder hone and check to see .006" feeler ribbon will slide freely. Could allways be a crack that started years ago from previous problem and just come to a head now. Best of luck
