Combines Throat width of a

44" wide. Yes, had a limited-range variable speed cylinder drive - meaning you had to mount the appropriate pulley or sprocket on the cylinder to put it in the correct "range" for the crop but could vary this range several hundred RPM from the operator's seat. Not like late model l2 and M2 combines with full-range cylinder drive.

G was 44 in. cyl ,between l (48) and M(40). not sure of throat width; but would think it was between l and M also. Heads should interchange by changing hook spacing on CII,G,F.The l and M are different.

Was the "limited-range variable speed cylinder drive." the same as was on the "F" and "F2"IJ Dad had a CII, F and F2. I know the "G" was the replacement for the C_CII. I have a really crazy idea going here. So thanks for the info.

It was the same in theory ;I'm not sure if parts will interchange.

The G was unique as to main clutch shaft V.S. drive system _sheaves_hyd feed. The cyl drive GUDGEON and VS header drive was common to others.
