Combines Tie Rod on 1440

Never bent one on our 1440 or 1660. Did bend 3 on the 2366 we use to have. Got to the point we carried a spare one with us.

I broke the tie rod on my 1660 right where one of the predrilled holes are. I reinforced the new one with a piece of angle iron welded to the bottom side of the tie rod and filled the holes with dowels and welded them in. When you weld the angle iron on weld it to the tie rod place the weld where the predrilled holes are.
