Combines Tiger jaw sectionsIJ

I had the same problem with our swather, we have an 281 OMC - Owattana an the sections would not fit properly, it was like the holes where too far ahead or back,I can't remember but it seems that the sections rubbed the back side of the guards and between the hold downs and slugged the sickle bar. We then bought the original OMC-Gehl secions and had no more trouble.

Now that starts to ring a bell. I bought a complete Tiger Jaws kit for a floating head the first year they came out and the guards wouldnt fit tightly against the bottom side of the sections. I ended up milling each guard (or was it hold downs) to get a good fit. If I remember correctly, there was a .030 gap under the front of the sections when the back was tight on the guard. Its hard to remember exact details after nearly 20 years. Now that I think about it, I can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday, Tom in MN
