Dee: Sorry about the email stuff -- we're having server problems we have a webmail setup which previews emails for spam and it doesn't always allow stuff to come thru. Concave setting -- If thresh is good, I can't visualize that concaves are set too open. Can you remember concave setting and rotor speeds in that cropIJ Other question -- did you install a new style front infeed beaterIJ Feedback I've had is that these can slug in heavy crops and in brittle material can chew up stems, etc. pretty badly.

Terry: I lost the indicator for concave setting but put down about 2 1_4 witch should be a little more then 1 on concave. It was thrashing good in day (bracking up strew bad),but in morning and night and after rain it was leaving a little bit of kernels on strew and leaving some beardes on. Running the rotor 500 RPM in day and 600-650 morning, night and after rain to help thrash of strew and for the bears. It was very good strew when it was had to thrash of strew but beet it up bad in the day when easy thrash. I did not get the front beater change yet, it has the 14 round beater with spick teeth in (4 rows with 5 teeth in 2 rows 6 in 2 rows stager every other row). I did not get it together in time to try it in wheat. Feeding from head seemed to be good, a little trouble when the dew was up. I had trouble with the shoe and beat up the air flow chaffer bad, so I am looking for one. I have to get a new feeder drum built (14) and put the fliting on it. The vertical part of unloading auger tube came apart just as we finished so I got a tube from Eberts, 15 at 10 or 12 gauge (I thought it would be like a pipe but it was formed with as seem down the side). What am I looking for the feeder beater a pipe or a tube that was formed round and how thick; there is 50 from side to side so 48 wide would be goodIJ On the speed control for IH if your wonting some help I am think about something that mite work on that for a deferment machine. I did have a question thou I would like to now if a machine has a patent on it that was built in Canada, they dont have ns on brushers, the patent search dint sow anything, is there a better way find outIJ Thanks Dee
