The 9750 has been around long enough that pretty much all of the bugs have been worked out. They are good machines, and were from the get-go, with the normal teething problems associated with a brand-new machine. The 9750 is no longer built, and has been replaced by the 9760. We've sold one 9860, and apart from a few very minor issues, it's been completely trouble-free for around two weeks of harvest, in up to 27% moisture, 250-bushel corn with a 12-row head. If you want, you can email me and we can discuss the 9750 further. I'm mostly a tractor technicain, but know my way around combines pretty well.

I don't want to start a war. As you can see by my name I run silver. I run in manitoba Canada, and i am not afraid to drive different equipment, but can you tell me this we have a new holland dealer here that took four 9750 in on trade, another dealer a gleaner one has two 9650,s one is an sts and the ohter is a walker machine The local case dealer has 2 9750's on his lot. All 8 machines have under 400 hrs. Why is this. I am not saying there is no other colors on deere lot there is. Our local deere dealer has a few diferent colors as well. Scince they brought out the 50's line up you are seeing more pop up on other dealer ships. In my opinion deere should have stayed with the 9600_9610 line up. Rember this is my opinion, and what i have seen on the lots of ohter dealers. Sorry for the long post. Colin

two weeks into a harvest isnt long enough to tell what kind of gas milege yourpickup is gettin much less what kind of machine you got doin circles. The real factors of thes machines come up when you get about 5 seasons on them them see what kind of mess you got on your hands. A few hundred hours on a machine isnt enough to tell if deere did their homework of not. My reason for this is ive noticed premature wear on these machines within 1500hours on major seperator components, which should have lasted atleast 3-4000 hours withought fail.

I talked to the guys that had the four 9750 the concaves, the clean grain auger fliting and there was one other thing that was completly wore out. They traded four 9600 for the four 9750, the 9600's had close to 3800 hours and were just staring to show wear, the 9750 only had one and half seasons. The crops they cut are wheat oats peas and lentials. They traded them off for four cx's, and are very happy. like i said it is my opinion, and i have read it on here as well, that the new machines are showing alot of wear, compared to the 9600_10's. Why is this. Colin

Some say the premature wear is simply overlooked amount of crop being put through the newer machine in an hours time compared to an older. More ground speed means more material in one day. However i dont think this is the case, the stories ive heard from guys who are not pleased shows that even with this factored in the machines major components are wearing out 30 percent faster, after figuring in the capacity. Im stickin with my old 9600 for a while.
