Why could you not get a lexion in KS, the entire state is covered by two Cat dealers, Foley Equip. and Martin Tractor, each with statewide branches and large ag customer bases. If a demo is what you are after, well, most ag dealerships, no matter the brand, only demo to pre-qualified prospects, just having a demo for curiosity sake is a thing of the past. If one is interested in demoing a piece of equipment, they had better be interested in buying it. Most deals done today are sight unseen (no demo),no matter the brand, except for the occasional new piece of iron that shows up on the market. However, I don't see anything new to the market that warrants extensive demoing to prove its worthiness.

Sorry that I haven't gotten back with you in some time. I've also forgotten my password so I had to modify my "nickname". Anyway..........! Things went pretty well during harvest and I did find a Cat combine. I doubt there is anything on the market that can eat like that Cat will(save the new NH combine coming outIJIJIJ).

If I'm going to lay out a quarter million dollars on a machine they will demo it or I will not even consider buying it. Now, demo can be taken in another light. lease me the machine....I run it that harvest. I like it....Apply the lease money to the purchase price. Yes, I'll agree, you cannot have that kind of equipment setting around just to run out so farmer bob can cut the 5 acres in the hog lot to see how it does. BUT, you should be able to have access to run if you are dead serious to at least lease for a season.
