I wonder how many 2002 green machines went up in smoke last summerIJ By the way, Mr. cumminspower, we had an N14 blow up las week. It just doesn't make quite as spectacular photos.

I would also be real curious about how many 2002'2 had fires too, I've heard way to many stories, with the thoughts on fires and the tier 2 and 3 engines lacking power I think I'm sticking with my search for another low hour 2001 machine.

Does anyone know how insurance compares to other makes since they have such high rate of firesIJ

That is a amazing picture! It looks like the guy in the background wasn't even paying any attention. Maybe the operator should of payed more attention to the combine.

looks like someone made that machine "appear" to be on fire. That looks to be an image with the "fire" added by a photo editing program.

As a (professionally-trained) volunteer fire-fighter, I would have to agree with you. Having seen several combines burn in the past (including a Deere) I find it highly suspicious that there are no flames or excessive smoke billowing from the grid which covers the rotary screen; - the entire "flame-sweep" appears to be towards the very back of the machine. I could point-out some other inconsistencies, but this pic appears to have been edited! Not to say that plenty of these combines have burnt, though!
