Combines Tool ideasIJ

For those times that I work on an electrical item and things don't go as planned I'd like to see someone sell "smoke in a can". That way I could put some smoke back in the device that let a little out and now no longer works.

How about a hydraulic drive lIGHT WEIGHT ( but durable) impact style wrench that could be plugged into the combines hydraulic system, say perhaps at the reel drive couplingIJ

that is a clever idea, but if the combine is broken, you can't run it and the wrench to fix it at the same time, you would also need a lot of hose to get around to the back side, and, as far as I know, the thresher and header have to be on for the reel hydraulics to work, at least on JD I have used, maybe a guy could plumb lines to the front and back of the combine and hook them up so the combine engine just has to be running, not the whole machine

Boy, that sounds like the most unhandy, awkward, clumsy contraption ever! I can just picture dragging two hydraulic hoses around every time I need to change a guard or section. Have you heard about the cordless impact tools available nowIJ Pretty handy from my experience. My wish for a handy tool invention is a power ratcheting box wrench for backing off the nuts on those long belt tightener bolts. Just drop the tool over the bolt, press the button, and wahllah! The belt is loose, (or tight). Of course, cordless powered. E.
