GS, If you were satisfied prior to bearing failure I'd just replace bearings_repair the cam. The larger pulleys_longer belt required stiffer springs. They just did an update on our '03 2388 cam. Good luck!
You can't go wrong with the whole assembly, B92768A. We put one on our 1680 and it works great. We have also run the 500n spring and new style needle bearing under the spring in an old assembly. That works fine also. Just make sure the yellow teflon bearing is in good shape and the whole assembly slides freely on the main shaft. Anything that causes friction will degrade the performance of the torque sensor.
