Maybe you should learn to say "NO" to doing those late, wet, alfalfa riden beans....or suggest you encourage your customer how to plant his beans earlier. Just kidding. But since now you are committed, you should just go to Hawaii for the winter and come back and do the beans (or alfalfa) in the spring.

Thanks pal. Now I know why you took your machine all apart.

Try closing the concaves to wind things through better. How about installing some "Disrupters" in the grates or rice spikes on your rotor or bothIJ

Have you changed the angle on the rotor cage vanesIJ Advance them all the way, this should help.

Move the bottom towards the front of the machine, to make the crop move through faster, rightIJ

Actually there are 3 bolts on each vane. The bolts have a special head on them so they won't turn but don't take the nuts off or the bolt can fall out, you will need to loosen them aways to get the vane to advance all the way. Kind of a dusty dirty job but I think it will help. good luck

The rotor speed seems awfully slow in my opinion. I would run it as fast as possible without excessively cracking the soybeans. I have run as high as 700 rpm without cracking. It would seem you could get a lot more material through with a higher rotor speed.

I agree with John W. Tighten concaves some, install distrupter kit, remove any straight separator bars that might be on the rotor and install spiked rasp bars in their place but ONlY over the separator grates. You should see a big improvement.

If you have a few days like Thur 18 Nov(wind and sunshine) you'll be able to thresh the alfalfa_beans... that is if your not still in Mexico playin.
