Just a couple of thoughts, If your losses are on the seives then you might want to slow the fan down some. You might also try adjusting the top windboard. This is in the air passage between the round fan housing and the sieves. Adjusting it further up will pitch more air at the front of the chaffer and lessens the grain blown out at the rear. If you think you're getting too much tailings returns you could pull out the lower sieve instead of installing a wide spaced lower seive. In most cases you don't need the lower seive in the machine unless you're breaking up cobs into small pieces and their going through the top sieve. How much the cob breaks up depends on corn vareities and the rotor_concave settings.
