Combines TR 95 feeder house chain jumping

Steve, Not sure if this could be what's causing the problem but, on the front roller in the feeder house. It has a lip on each end of the roller, one time we had one where the lip either broke off or it wore off and we had trouble with the chain jumping also. Welded a new lip on there made out of a little heavier metal and didn't have any trouble afterwards. JD

Suggest you check the auger flights and auger extensions on the front of your rotors. If they're worn badly, they'll push material forward and toward the outside, back into the outside feeder house chains. First indication of this is usually a little refeed over the top of the feeder house. In this condition material is also required to pile up so the chain can force feed the rotors.
