You have asked all the right questions. I am dissappointed in the the TR unloading rate too.The only thing I can figure is the double U-joint at the base of the unloading tube has part of the flighting cut out to accommodate the u-joints. I know that speeding up the auger doesn't seem to help. The TR-99 has a 18 tooth drive sprocket and the older ones have a 16 tooth. We tried up to a 22 tooth sprocket but it was no help. I always liked the TR system, but I guess I like the CR system better. After I got used to it. The CR auger is very high and sometimes on a windy day you have to swing the auger part way back so it gets lower.It's interesting that since NH came out with 3 bu. _ sec. JD upped their output to 3.3.
