I am not sure what concave you have as if I remember my TR-70 had a large wire and two small wires. I always pulled the small wires out for corn and soybeans and put them back for wheat. A TR-96 I had had all the small wires pulled and had rollers over the large wires. That set-up would never plug with cobs and worked great on milo also. A good freeze will work too. Good luck.
