First, troubleshoot the problem. It could be simply a weak circuit breaker. If the breaker is the problem, upgrade it to one that is rated at 5amps higher. There is actually 2 updates to repair this problem. Did you ever add extra lights - yes_noIJ If not, the update simply is unhooking one of the work lights from the circuit and hooking it up to the switch directly. Are your road lights cutting out as wellIJ It could also be a failing relay behind the seat. Just some things to check !

I to had a problem with lights. After about 10 minutes the field lights flickered and went out. I changed breakers but still didn't fix the problem. I talked to a gentleman at a farm sale who also had a tr96 with the same problem. He told me to get a new switch which i did and had no problems since. Hope this helps goodluck

I had the same problem with my 96. Road lights would stay on as well as the two at the bottom of the cab, but the rest would go out. In the right hand console below the gearshift cover down in the bottom of that compartment ( fun to get to ) there is a 20 amp circuit breaker fastened to the floor. Replace this circuit breaker with a 30 amp breaker (25 won't do it-tried). This will fix your problem if none of the other fixes have done the trick. The location of the circuit breaker is on the electrical schematic in op's manual. If you run lights several hours, wires will get warm, just shut work lights off for 2-3 minutes and they'll cool.
