There are already some used or maybe just leased CR 960's and 970's for sale here in the U.S.

Ozfarmer we traded this past year our TR98 for a TR99. I like the TR99 much better. It has less noise in the cab than the 98 did. Seems to have more capacity than the old one also. Really like the concave control now. Very easy to use. If the deal is right I would go ahead and trade, you would not be sorry. I'm glad I did. I'm sure a CR would be nice also, but seems to be pricey. Ilnh If I can help any more just ask.

OZ, I'd go for the TR-99. As NH has added more hp the capacity has increased and so has the wear on things like augers, elevator boots, and even grain tank bottoms. You'll never find a better TR. Don't forget that the TR-99 has 3_4 inch wider clean grain elevator and a faster unloading auger. They both help in high yielding corn. I have no complaints at all about the 99. They have continually improved the TR's since the 80's. My only improvement would be to change the bubble-up auger. NH is still working on updates. I think they are now on th 5th or 6th one. I would put a vertical hyd auger in the grain tank and eliminate the u-joint that seems to be the core of the problems. Good luck!

The TR 99 is the way to go. I traded a98 on a CR 960 and I have a TR 99. I love my new CR but I still like my TR. If you need to trade now the TR 99 is a very good choice.
