I put the poly skids on mine after using it one season it, "Poly Tech" was the name brand I used. We have a lot high organic soils that will push easily if dry. They helps on those soils. I'd say they have been over 4000+ acres, I have one skid that has wore through on the back of the skid. They really weren't that bad to put on, just buy ya a few "new" drill bits to drill all the holes with. It's more work taking the skids on and off than putting the poly on the skids. Yeah, that year older thing adds up after awhile doesn't itIJ I just had my B-day last week, seems like yesterday I was half the age! We've been getting rain since early afternoon, just getting awful sloppy. Man I wish for all falls to be like last year's, we never had a rain from the first week of Sep till into Nov when it rained about .3, then no more till mid Dec, got .7 then a 6 inch snow just before Christmas. That was nice! It would be nice to have well defined seasons, like a rainy season then a dry season. later, JD
