What are you running your wind atIJ We don't have that high of yields and we run ours 850 to 900. The Petterson Chaffer can be run quite a way open, remember, the further open it is, the more wind it will take to suspend the chaff. Fan Speed is at 900 RPM. Sounds like I should set the fan speed wide open. Peterson Chaffer is all the way open or as far as it will open. It appears as if the Peterson chaffer could be more open but the handle is at the end of the stroke. I used to have a nonadjustable Airfoil chaffer on another combine and the openings were bigger.
