Combines Tracker

I had field installed units on both a 1680 and now a 2188. Only problem we had was getting the sensors on the header kits wired. Works like a champ. Once you have had it on a machine you will really like it. I have converted a 30' 1010 and a 883 corn head for use with tracker in the auto mode. Works really well.

You may want to check that your mechanical linkages are all still there on each end of the header and on the tracker front. As far as your chaffer shoe problem, check all shoe bushings very carefully, they will go at any time, anywhere. Also, check your chaffer and clean grain sieves to make sure they are tight and brackets that hold them are not cracked. Broken sieves can be a problem on some models, hope this helps.

A couple of thoughts. I assume you have tried to level the head with the tracker controls. Possibly the pot is not positioned properly. You could also have a problem in the wiring such as would be caused by mice, vibration, etc.

I had had same problem when I put the bean head on a few weeks ago. I eventually found a wire had some how pulled off under the dash. It was a wire that went into the manual tilt switch in the upper right hand of the counsel.
