Sounds like a good idea, esp for the new AGCOs using AdBlue. less pollution and added fertility should both be good. Now, how do you inject it if you aren't doing tillage (i.e., hayingIJ)

Way things are going with "climate change " . Could be enforced. Which if proven to work, well Emmm IJ 30 yrs ago (as a kid ) i first seen some tractor exhausts funnelled by elaborate pipe work (like lately ) into intake of airseeder fan to help with moving_drying moisture absorbing_blocking Fertilizers. Some also put gas burners on airseeder fan intake for same. I wonder now do they think back and go Aahhhhh IJ pengs5

Arr Tbran! I'm not sure whether a tractor would run that well, if you used their effluent they produced back through the tractors exhaust system! ;) Maybe, thats were we can store our CarbonIJ In the big domed buildings on Capital hillIJ And When it all get to cold from mini Ice age! They can release some carbon to help warm the planet! :) Im not cynical! Nooooo never!! Rolf

After talking to people two years ago, I figure total system is a scam. No proof that any of the exhaust stays in the soil. As exhaust is mixed with total fan air and most of that is exhausted behind the shaft with any narrow opener how can the soil capture any amount of the exhaust. Also there is very little nitrates in old engines not counts all the new engines, how can you get 30-50lbs_acre reduction in N applied. At present I have seem no tests other that company or people paid by company there is anything in the system.

I went to a feild day a few years back on it, system seemed to interesting to pass up. After seing the crops which were ok @ best and finding out they were spending more on micro nutrients and some macros in multiple foliar apllications then I was on conventional fertilizers I was not convinced. Since that time the theory has gone from Fertilizer replacement to feeding the micro organizims in the soil for better nutrient cycling. I am still not convinced, but never say never who knows what may come.
