on rare occasions _ conditions this is a problem. We have found the only sure fire cure is to bolt an old N series cage cover to the upper RH side of the thresing grate. What seems to happen is green or damp material comes through the grate and the tailings fall on this and start to bridge till it plugs the tailings chute. Doesn't matter if it is high wire or low wire with all wires in or half out - have tried it all. Cage cover works so far in my situations. Remove it for corn and wheat. Have seen no reduction in capcity on beans.
