a friend of mine had this problem on his jd head and he got these rubber like extensions that bolt onto the gathering chains they use the two holes on each piece of chain that sticks out he used them only on the middle rows they work great he got these from jd dealer but iam sure they would work on a case

Goto Calmeragresearch.com They sell stuff for this problem. I wish I would have tried it last season on a MF I have. Slowed the chains down this year Not a problem, but I do not feel my stalks are like last years either. Do know CNH offers a slow down kit for their 2200 series. We do own one of them, and I like the head in that type of condition. We used to own the JD 90 series previous to the 2200 series and always fought it.

Do you have the front of the feeder tilted all the way backIJ It sure helped me, it lets the trash feed better. Dana
