Combines Tricks on R75

no tricks should be required. Per op man run the concave as close as possible until the hp requirements go up, make sure grate is level, raise the front concave a couple of marks toward minimum, RPMS up til crackage occurs then back off a tad, and then add filler strips to the concave if necessary. You add them in til it will get 100% threshing in any crop I know of. On the 5 series the adjustments are all push button. Make sure the settings are RIGHT on the readouts and that they have been 'zeroed in' during predelivery. Most I have checked have been off a tad. It could read a setting of 1 on concave clearance and actually be a 3 or 4. Same way on fan choke. Check it out.

You could check back a few days ago for there was question for wheat guys. Hyper 1 and 2 maybe don't monkey to much with wheat. Does the machine have something other than the standard open eight bar rotor and does it have reverse barsIJ Does it have high wide wire seperator grate and do they know they can tighten it up to cylinder to control possible lossesIJ Have they did a seed count or do they just plain want it betterIJ Be sure to have him follow up with stationary rasp and or helical trick and he'll get it just as good as he desires. It will work just as good in corn or better with tricks he uses for wheat.
