Combines Trimpe cyl bars

The bars are beginning to wear on the vertical front portion of the teeth, which wasn't hardfaced, while the hard metal on top is still good. This causes a hooking effect which will carry material over the cylinder, and leaves a sharp point at the top leading corner of the tooth which causes cracking. Immediate best fix is to reverse the bars. Hope this is clear.

We run a set in a M2 for 15 years+ and never turned them , I don't remember any problems . Now in corn we ran the filler bars most of the time ,made the cylinder bar wider and helped with milling the corn. As far as beans coming out the front how much did you have coming back the return elevator, that will do that. As far as Trimpe cylinder bars we are now run them in our R50 ,will shell corn all day 5 MPH.
