The new spreaders are an option and they are hydraulic drive. There is one spreader for straw and the the other 2 are for the chaff, the finned chaff spreader that was on there is repalced with a deflecter that pushes the chaff down into the chaff spreaders. The standard version will still be the same as what you are used too.

That's good to hear. Although it is a good idea in theory, using the combine's own air as a natural chaff spreader, it just doesn't always work the best. I wonder if they will make it available on older models to where you can take the fins off and put on this new deal. We even put the fins on our N6, and afterwards I wished we'd just bought a Vittetoe unit.
