Combines Trouble gettting reel to lift on 9600

test to see if the solenoid is working by useing a screwdriver and test for magnitism these solanoid seem to have a habit of leaking

On the older 9000 series combines there is a problem with the auger swing switch.leaving the switch in the retract position can cause this problem.I think it also relates to the auger limiter switch. I am not sure about that but leaving the swing switch in the neutral position has solved the problem for me.
