Roy, you need to put on third cylinder lift kit, part no. 137856A2--60"feeder house part no. 137857A2--feeder with rock trap. If my memory serves me correctly, $750-$800 US. Be sure to get the 2nd safety stand, 04 models come with the brackets already in place, otherwise you have to weld the new brackets in along side existing ones, no big deal. We did it to lift a 12 row corn hd, works great. Best of luck, that has to be an awesome feeling to be sitting behind and pushing 42' header.

We have trouble lifting our 36'hb with a 1688 with 3rd cylinder can we put on a 4th or do we have hydraulic problems dealer turned up pressure.

Have 2388 with 36' honeybee. My dealer down here just screwed the pressure up. But it would be better to add a extra lifting cylinder. All the best with your harvest from australia.

Honey Bee has got to be the Heaviest header on the market. And it will get alot heavier when they release the flex cutterbar model.

No. It could be a rumour. It probably isn't though. The rumour goes that New Holland wants a line of flex heads from 25 to 42 feet.
