You just never give up on making the Green ones superior and all the other brands the bottom of the bucket. I just returned home from the wheat harvest this evening and from what I saw out there your numbers which are so exact are pretty far fetched. I know there is more then 16% of red ones out there and the last few years the Gleaner boys have been making one hell of a return. I have been in the same field with my 2388 and an r-72 in 100+ bushel wheat and I am not ashamed to admit the Gleaner out thrashed mine. Sure I could have pushed it and kept up but I take more pride in my work then being the king of the mountain. You think that case and New Holland have just sat down to the drawing board for there new machines your crazy, they both have had and will have protoypes in the making what you will never know about. All companies do I dont care how Important you think you are there is so much more information kept hush hush then you will ever know about. Where you come off saying that the 2388 is so underhorsepowered. Have you ever run one in all conditions and can tell me what conditions is it so underpowered. How many ponies did your old 9600s have compared to the new 9750's. Just because they just recently came out with it with all the 330 horsepower or whatever it may have, what about all the years that the gleaners have had 330.... I have nothing against deer but you need to go out and buy one of each brand of combines stay off the computer and hit the raod harvesting then come back and tell all of us what you like and dislike about all the combines you had the chance to operate. Who cares what the numbers are so deer has 70% and cat has 2%, why dont you take the biggest cat and the superior deer, put them in the same field and watch the cat show you a thing or two, or the Gleaner or any other brand as far as it goes I could go on and on but I wont...

Don't worry he is just a kid with nothing better to do. His facts and figures don't make much sense.

Gleaner has been destroying those green grain mills for the past 20 years... Deere is running around shooting their mouths off in their adds about " How about 5MPH in heavy small grainIJ"... my dad was doing 5.6 w_ his N6 back in '84. IH wasn't far behind, if not right their with him. People need to learn to keep open minds about machines...I've been totally raised on Silver, but I always check out other colors. (Deere CTS's are kind of appealing to me lately...). About the statistics, people can make up statistics to try to prove anything they want... 90 % of people know that Happy harvesting!

I worked as an engineer on combines at Case for a while up until a few months back. This guy's market share numbers may not be exact, but they are approximately correct. Deere really took a lot of market share since the Case_NH merger. I think CNH probably lost double digit percentage of market share.
