if ya cant say anything nice dont say anything at all go back to your little green page and squawk to the others about your combines with 60% more moving parts have heard from lots of people that were told by their deere dealer to trade their 1 year old sts off on a IH and bring it back to trade for the new sts otherwise it would cost them $30K to trade so i wouldnt talk about resale too loud

We did run a 9650sts last fall for 3 days. The new platform is great and the hydro-deck plates on the corn head are very nice. My complaints: -moving parts. Not as many as the ten series but more than a Gleaner or CaseIH. -cab posts. They sit right at the end of a 30' heads view. Visibility of the header ends is poor. -screen settings. In dry conditions setting it was easy. In 25% moisture corn we never felt comfortable setting it because the screenings go through the chopper making it hard to detect field losses. -power. The 9650 needs more HP in green stem beans and high yielding corn. We had a 2388 next to it and the Deere did not have very much more capacity as advertised. -poly corn head. The idea is nice but the entry angle is steeper than the Gleaner. We ran a STS_465_2388_R72. We went with the 72 for price and performance reasons.
