I'll stand corrected, but i think i've been told before that there is a small battery inside the infoview (like a watch battery) that keeps the memory when power is not connected. A flat battery is probably the cause.
thanks i took the 4 screws out of the infoview monitor and found a philips 357 button battery. It tested 0.9 volts and should have been 1.55 volts. I got another at wallmart and after cleaning a bit of gunk of the negative terminal it works. The battery is a popular watch battery.
