We ran a tx 36 here in the uk for 6 seasons with a 280hp iveco engine. The combine was very reliable and gave a very good sample. We then changed to a tx 68 for more performance,The tx 68 is a 36 with twin returns like the TF46 and a few more HP and a bigger grain tank. The build qaulity of those combines were first class and in 6 seasons we only changed a unloading belt and 2 straw chopper bearings that says something i think ! We then needed more out put due to increased acres we were farming so we asked if there was anything on its way from NewHolland to replace the 68 and we were told no.So we changed to a 480 lexion we shall just have to wait and see how reliable this is going to be.Hope you have as much fun with your tx as i did happy harvesting from the UK

TX 36 came with a 240hp engine in 1988 and then was put up to 280hp in about i think 1990-91 the one thing that let them down was only having the one returns on one side but if you set them up right that was not a problem.

Hi Greg. Just bought a 1991 TX36 in june before harvest this summer replacing a NH806. It saved my harvest because we had the worst harvest ever here in Denmark. 36.000 hectars is lost, and many farmers had to harvest the last crops with 26-30% water! Why I bought itIJ Because its so solid and genius machine. I could have had some 3-5 years Case2188 or MF40 for the same amount, but not the same quality! It did the job without problems. It has the nescessary electronic, but not too much! Regards from Soren
