Combines tx68 with a 30 ft 973 header

What are you combining with itIJ Use the ultrasonic for wheat. Use the contact terrain tracer for beans. Unless you wheat fields are quite rolling the ultra sonic does not make as nice a job as stubble hight setting. It wanders around allot. I used it a only a couple times and now just go with stubble hight setting. The sensors mount at the rear of the head at the outside edges under where the drives go through the outer panels. There are little guards around them as part of the bracket. On ours (1996)you need to switch a small wiring harness on the computer every time you switch from terrane tracer to sonic.

I am cutting beans with the tx 68. I will hook up the terrain tracer and see if that will work.Thanks for the help. I will return if I have more questions.
