Delta boy, a similar option to the tine separator on the WTS is found on all Cat lexion walker machines. The lexion version is called ISS (Intensive Separation System). Such a system enables the mat of material being transported by the walkers to not remain blanketed on the walkers (especially if high moisture),but rather be lifted aloft in the walker housing to promote more separation. The knives on the ISS are mounted on for. and aft. crank shafts to the walkers and actually extend down into the crop mat, lifting it and throwing it up to improve separation performance, allowing any grain that might be lodged within the mat to be separated. This feature on the lexion works well in all crops and has been proven on many neighboring farms to reduce the potential for walker loss when operating on sloping ground. it is actually a very cheap option equipped from the factory.
