4WDman, That's not such of an odd question. Athough we live in opposite directions from Hesston I know Jim Bruchaker. In Fact the two 2188s that I was runing untill this fall were bought new by him in 97. You said you worked for him in 97 so you were familiar with the two machines I had. This internet thing makes it a small world. As for your question, "What kind of combines is he runing now". I can't tell you. The only time I get to talk with him is if we cross paths on the harvest run some place, and I have'nt seen him in couple of years. K.A.

Not to butt in or anything but I do see them every year at one of my stops in Kansas I do believe they have around 6 2388's. They do fall cutting for one of the farmers what we cut wheat for.

Thanks guys!! I was just curious. I haven't been out there in a while. I didn't think he would change over to MF. It really isn't that easy to just switch an intire fleet of combines over to another brand. At least I wouldn't think so. All the tools and equipment are sent up for CASEIH. I didn't drive combine much out there. I didn't like it. I drove truck most of the time. (I now do it for a living) Grain cart once in a while. The custom Harvest was something I wanted to do for a long time. We had a lot of guys from around here go out with Brubacher's in the past. They talked me into going out with him instead of S and l from Imperial, NE. I was the only American on the crew from the states other than a couple local boys and Brubacher's kids. The rest were all from Australia. It was an "Educational Experiance" !! Still Fun!!! I also ran with a custom Silage crew for 3 weeks before fall harvest. That was work!! Also something I will not forget!! Thanks Again!! Steve V. NW, OHIO
