Combines Unloader Shear bolts

Thru the years and different models we have found that the biggest problem is tighening the shear bolt too tight. It has a self locking nut on it so it won't come off if left loose. Have you checked to see if everything is ok at the double u-joint om the augerIJ also the flighting may be bad in the u-joint. Our TR-99 has over 1100 hrs on it and untill lately we never had a pin shear. The new help didn't know about the loose bolt idea.

The TR99 alredy has an orfice built into the unloading auger engagement circuit. You may have to close the doors in the hopper some more. In peas, we have to close them right down and also cover up the perforated cover above th u-joints as well.

Ours did that for the first ime this year. There was a u joint bad in the angle section of the auger. It should work with the plates wide open.
