Combines unloader swing orifice

Hey Kirk, dont you like having the fastest auger in the neighborhoodIJ I dont unload on the go so it is easy to slow the engine to control auger swing speed to something that doesnt jar your eyeteeth out of place.

I had the same problem on my N-7. I put an inline flow control valve in the line that swings the auger in. I think the valve was about 20 bucks and I had to put a new fitting on the hose end. It's nice because you can make go as fast or slow as you want to. I can make it take a half a round to fold back if I wanted to. I got the idea from here, but I can't remember when it was. I also have a friend that has this setup on a grain cart. Anyway, hope this helps. DAB

I am not sure if I have the right vintage hydraulic schematic, but I think the orifice you see controls the rate at which the spool in the valve shifts, not the flow.
