Combines unloading auger alarm for 1680 possibleIJ

Our '90 model 1680 has an unloader light that comes on when the auger is out. It's down my the steering wheel. What year do you haveIJ

I had the same problem. I solved it with a bit of electrical wire and small red light that I mounted right on the steering column just below the steering wheel. I hooked up the switch so that when the unloading lever is engaged the light comes on. I just used a light...but you could easily attach an alarm as well. Hope this helps.

I made a bracket that went right underneath the handle in the cab. So when you lifted the handle up , the pushbutton switch came up and then the alarm went off. I got my buzzer at radio shack. At first I had a light mounted above the windhshield to the right but sometimes it was hard to see in the daylight. A buzzer works the best.
