dfg: Try adjusting the pull cable to the specified lbs of pull to engage unloader. I think it's about 35 lbs. Adjusting the spring only affects the disengage function. Hope this helps.
Rusty, thanks for the reply, I did adjust it and now works fine. I should return the new belt, the case shop guys never mentioned a word of that cable to me! Yet they explained exactly how to change the belt, which saved me an hour.
