You don't say which model you have, but most are all alike. 2100 and up machines are equipped with load checks in the control valve behind the left access panel by the cab. This could be your problem. Earlier machines did not have this and the auger would drift off the saddle. The machines I have been around there is some adjustment on the lever that the cylinder rod mounts top on the swivel. Make sure that you grease the 4 unloader zerks liberally every day and at several positions in the rotation. Have seen these get so dry that the unloader will not swing.

Thanks for the info. I have a 1440 (1984) machine. If there is an adjustment on the ends the hydraulic cyclinder fastens to I don't see it. So far what I found was the fastener pin by the piston was dragging on the bottom by the brace. After moving the pin up with a couple washers it took care of most of the problem. Now I am only lacking about an inch from being all the way in the saddle. This is much better than it was.
