Combines Unloading auger swivel chain

I have just done this job on our R42. The chain on ours has little wear on it(600 engine hours). I tightened the chain in the craddled position. I made sure the top and bottom were both tight. When I raised the auger the bottom was very lose. I then tightend the chain again. When I craddled the auger it was too tight. I losenned the chain until it was tight top and bottom but not too tight. This is where I left it. I beleive it is leverage_center of pivot the makes it go loose.

Pete, the only thing I remember about swivel chains is the local dealer suggested replacing the originals with H chains on an M2. I believe there is a timer relay that shuts off power to the unloader swing solenoidsboth in and out. If your engine is idling very slowly, you can detect a change in engine speed when that happens.
