the bottom augers are not timed to the vertical auger, only the vertical and top auger. some have pictures at the elbow.if it does not. the vertical top tip of flighting has to be 90 degrees off of horizontal. in other words the rotation of travel the bottom auger should rotate 90 degrees in front of horizontal. rotate by hand and it should not hit each other.
