Shortstuff, If you know clyinder is level, then you need to play with two things.(1) adjust cylinder speed higher if you are not splitting soybeans.(2)if you have a fair amount of splits then you need to adjust concave tighter and slow cylinder speed. I assume you are running around 600-650rpm on clyinder and around 3_8" concave clearance. I beleive you can dial it in with a few adjustments. Good luck, Hyper Harvest II

I run three concaves with 3_8" clearance and 600rpm and use a bean screen in place of the sieve. As long as I don't crack the beans I will increase the cylinder speed to help get the material through the cylinder. By using the bean screen you will not get any whole bean pods in the bin. How many tailings are you gettingIJ If not much and you are using a finger sieve try closing it some. If your pods are tough speed up the cylinder. If you are not getting the pods off the stalk lower the cylinder. If you are using the gages on the side of the throat to set the cylinder clearance and you have not checked them by lowering the cylinder to the concave to see if they zero out you could have more clearance than you think.

Are the Roundup Ready beansIJ They're bad for uneven moisture pods.

Yes they are RR beans. CPS variety. Took all the advise into consideration. Dropped the cylinder a little and increased the speed. The pods did have a slight moisture difference. But, got all of the acres off with what looks to be about 45 to 50 bu. ave. Thanks to everyone that helped me.
