No, Ray has not used one of my kits. Kit was not out until this winter and Ray had adopted his own way in the meantime. He doesn't go quite as far as I do with the kit but he gets the job done and makes feeders nearly unplugable. I decided to come with a kit that goes the whole nine yards in an effort to make it easier for a dealer or farmer to do which will wake up a maximum number of machines. You ask how long it takes. Well every machine will be different because of the various tuning that area should get when at the job. An experienced guy putting my complete kit in will likely get it down to 12 hour range after one or two machines. Now if your going threw slip clutches, replacing sprockets, replacing bearings, ect. ect. it will all change dramatically. On the flip side a guy that stops short of doing what my complete kit does could maybe get it done in half the time. Yea I know who you are now when you mentioned the baler. Best to go ahead and get Ray to fix up the 72 floor for it will prevent the stress on all the feeder including the header related drives. Talk to you later.
