Combines Updates on 03 model 2388 s

Big Al, I recently traded for two 03 2388s. They gave me two updates for the air screan. I have not put them on yet. I figured I would wait till I'm finished and have the combines in my shop to do the work. I did have a little trouble in corn when the wind was just right with that air shoot plugging up with corn husks. I hope one of the updates fixes that problem. Hey were you the Big Al that won a door prize at the ProHarvest meeting in Frederick last Spring. I wanted to get over to you and shake your hand but to many people. K.A.

I was at the Pro Harvest meeting in Frederick this spring but I didn't win no door prize and we went both days to the meetings because we needed some help getting our AFS up and running it would be nice to meet maybe next year. As for the updates I have been hearing that Case is going to do something with the torque senor bushings or the sheaves on the rotor pulleys because they had some problems with rotor belts going out. Stay in touch. I got to run an 8010 for two days in 125 bushel corn it was a nice machine but it still needs some fine tuneing. At the same time we had a CR 970 out and I ran it for a day it was alot more user friendly at least in the cab I thought, as for capicity it was simliar to the 8010 well a little off track I guess but thanks for the info.
