I agree the updates are good they could just leave us hung out on them. But how many other company's are having constant updatesIJ I bought the only 8010 from my dealership and i don't have alot of confidence in them fixing it when it does break. it was down over a week last year over a control pressure sensor. You would think case could of had someone that would know how to trouble shoot this machine and give them some help.computer system needs someway to overide so you can keep running if you know everything is ok. I don't here of deere combines needing update after update they get them right before they ship them or maybe iam misinformed we got a 9860 to run with 8010 so i guess we will see how they compare here in a couple of weeks.

I think all the control pressure issues caught them by surprise, the problems weren't in all the machines and they seemed to be a little different in each machine that did give problems. Some of the updates increase capacity and some are for poor engineering or oversite. Your issues with your dealer are going to be hard to overcome, the 8010 shares very few parts and problems with the other combines( other than the 7010) that CIH sells. CIH relies on dealer mechanic repair schools to teach dealers how to trouble shoot and repair. They do have phone support for dealers but trying to figure out a problem and solution on the telephone isn't easy.

No sir you are right they are hard to fix. I can't fix them myself are I would, There way above my head. I just expect someone to fix it after I paid $250000 for it. and the cost of machine is just part of it, it's what you can loss in the feild when it's sitting on the end thats bad.

it's been a hard row to hoe, but it is getting a lot better. They at least they have parts, and know how to check it now. my dealer has a bunch out now 2 new 7010's and a 8010's as well as the 4 others in the area. everything has problems but I think it's still the best machine in the long run.

When it is running your right it is a really good machine, high capacity nice to operate easy service has alot of good points. but when it is broke and nobody knows how to fix it it is very Frustrating.

"I don't here of deere combines needing update after update they get them right before they ship them..." That's a brave statement.
